The Cutometer® MPA 580 is a worldwide acknowledged device to measure elasticity and other biomechanical properties of the skin. The measurement unit is also a MPA-System allowing for the connection and use of additional probes with this system.

The modern, high quality electronics of the probe allow for a very quick measurement. Several probe aperture sizes are available for different skin sites and study requirements. A spring in the measuring head provides constant pressure on the skin. The low weight of the probe ensures easy handling. A multitude of elasticity related parameters can be calculated from the data captured. The settings in the program are very flexible and can be selected by the user according to different applications. All data can be exported to Microsoft Excel® for further individual evaluation (up to four curves per sheet). This instrument is available solely as a C+K MPA-System.
